Rescuers Extinguish Fire Caused by Enemy Strike in Residential High-Rise in Kharkiv

In Kharkiv, located in the Kyiv district, a serious emergency unfolded when a fire broke out in an eight-story residential building due to an enemy drone strike. Firefighters responded promptly to the incident and took all necessary measures to extinguish the flames that engulfed the second and third floors of the structure.

According to information provided by the press service of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service (SES) in the Kharkiv region, the fire was successfully extinguished at 5:19 PM. The blaze covered an area of 200 square meters, indicating the severity of the incident and the rapidity of its spread.

At the time of the fire, residents were inside the building, and unfortunately, two women sustained injuries as a result of the incident. Their health status is currently being assessed, but medical personnel are already providing the necessary assistance. Firefighters took all precautions to ensure the safety of the residents and to prevent further spread of the fire.
