The Kherson City Military Administration has reported a shocking incident that occurred in the Dnipro district of Kherson around 7:00 PM, where Russian occupiers launched an attack on an emergency medical team using a drone. This information was released via the official Telegram channel of the administration, highlighting the serious situation and the persistent threats that medical professionals continue to face in wartime conditions.
According to the report, three medics sustained serious injuries as a result of the attack. A 48-year-old female doctor, along with a 24-year-old paramedic and a 42-year-old emergency medical technician, were hospitalized with concussions, blast injuries, and closed head traumas. This incident underscores the tragic reality that healthcare workers, who are dedicated to saving lives, have become victims of the relentless war that continues to rage in Ukraine.
Furthermore, the Kherson City Military Administration also reported another incident that occurred around 6:00 PM on the same day. As a result of Russian shelling in the Dnipro district, two more medical workers were injured. A 26-year-old male doctor and a 25-year-old female doctor sought medical assistance for blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. They received necessary medical care and will be treated on an outpatient basis, demonstrating that even in such challenging conditions, medical professionals continue to fulfill their duties.
