Russian Forces Strike Kherson – One Person Killed

On the morning of April 6, the city of Kherson once again became a target for Russian occupying forces, which launched an artillery strike on the Shipbuilding District. This tragic incident resulted in the death of one person and injuries to two others, who are currently receiving medical assistance.

This information was shared by the head of the Kherson City Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, via his Telegram channel. According to him, the shelling occurred around 10:15 AM, while civilians were going about their daily activities. Shanko noted that, based on preliminary reports, one person was killed on the spot, while two others sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity.

This attack is part of the ongoing aggression by Russia against Ukraine, which has persisted since 2014, when the annexation of Crimea and armed conflict in eastern Ukraine began. Kherson, located in the southern part of the country, has become particularly vulnerable to attacks after Russian troops occupied it in 2022.
