Russian Forces Advance in Hryshyne Village and Near Kotlyne Settlement in Donetsk Region — DeepState

Russian troops are continuing their offensive actions in Ukraine, specifically in the village of Hryshyne and near the settlement of Kotlyne in the Donetsk region. This information was revealed on Tuesday, April 7, through reports provided by the DeepState project, which specializes in monitoring military operations in Ukraine.

DeepState analysts have updated their map, marking new advances by Russian occupiers in these areas. This indicates that the situation on the front remains tense, with continuous fighting taking place.

It is worth noting that on March 31, the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian troops were unable to advance in Hryshyne and were experiencing a severe shortage of food and water. The Ukrainian corps emphasized that Ukrainian military forces were actively targeting enemy positions even before reaching the populated area, demonstrating the effectiveness of their actions.

According to preliminary data, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed a company-level officer in the Hryshyne area, leading to disorganization within Russian units and a decrease in their combat capabilities. This fact underscores the importance of precise strikes by Ukrainian forces, which can significantly influence the course of combat operations.

On March 30, DeepState analysts also noted that the Russian Federation's army continues to exert active pressure on Hryshyne, gradually increasing its infantry presence in the settlement. On February 16, the 7th Corps noted that the occupiers had intensified pressure from the settlements of Kotlyne and Rodynske; however, Ukrainian troops are putting up a worthy resistance.
