Russian Forces Attack Kherson with 'Molniya' Drone - Four Injured

On October 23, Russian forces launched a drone attack in Kherson, injuring four individuals, as reported by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.

Today, October 23, at approximately 1:00 PM, Russian forces struck the city of Kherson using a 'Molniya' drone, resulting in injuries to four people. This information was shared by Yaroslav Shanko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, via his Telegram channel, providing updates on the situation in the region.

According to Shanko, all of the injured sustained concussions along with explosive and closed head injuries. Among the victims were a 15-year-old boy, a 20-year-old girl, and a 47-year-old woman. Medical assistance was administered on-site to a 61-year-old local resident, while the other injured individuals were urgently hospitalized for further treatment.

This attack occurred against the backdrop of escalating tensions in the region. Earlier that same morning, Russian forces shelled the Korabelny district of Kherson, resulting in the death of an elderly woman and injuries to three other women. These incidents underscore the ongoing aggression from Russia, which continues unabated even during peacetime.

Kherson, located in an active combat zone, has become a frequent target of Russian military attacks. Local residents live in constant anxiety, as each day may bring new casualties. City authorities are urging the population to remain cautious and adhere to safety measures, as the threat level remains high.

In light of these events, medical facilities in Kherson are on high alert to provide necessary assistance to the injured. Doctors are working in an intensified mode, as the number of wounded could increase with each new bombardment. The authorities are also reaching out to the international community for help in ensuring the safety of civilians.

This situation raises concerns not only within Ukraine but also beyond its borders. The global community is closely monitoring developments in Kherson and other regions affected by Russian aggression. Many countries have expressed their support for Ukraine and condemned Russia's actions that lead to civilian casualties.
