The Dnipropetrovsk region was particularly hard-hit, enduring over 60 drone and artillery attacks, as reported by local authorities. Notably, one drone attack targeted a market in the city of Nikopol, resulting in the deaths of five individuals and injuring 27 others, in addition to causing significant damage to the market itself. Other assaults throughout the day led to damage to residential buildings, resulting in an additional injury.
In the early hours of Sunday, Russian forces also targeted the coastal city of Odesa.
