Russian Army Loses 1,030 Soldiers in One Day in War Against Ukraine
Recent reports from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reveal that the Russian army has suffered significant losses in its ongoing conflict with Ukraine, with 1,030 soldiers reported dead in just one day.
According to the latest data published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, the Russian army has experienced substantial losses in its war against Ukraine. In the past 24 hours, the number of Russian military fatalities has increased by 1,030, indicating the continuation of active hostilities along the front lines.
In addition to human casualties, the Russian armed forces have also incurred serious losses in military equipment. As of today, the Russian army has lost a total of 11,846 tanks, which reflects an increase of 5 units. The number of armored fighting vehicles that have been destroyed or captured stands at 24,368, with a gain of 4 units. The artillery systems lost by the Russian side have reached 39,625, with 63 units destroyed in the last day alone.
It is also noteworthy that Russian forces have lost 1,723 multiple rocket launchers (MRLS), with 1 unit destroyed in the past 24 hours. Among other losses, there have been 1,341 anti-aircraft systems, with 1 unit also destroyed. In terms of air power, the Russian army has lost 435 aircraft, remaining unchanged, and 350 helicopters, which have also not changed in number.
Furthermore, according to the General Staff, the number of operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) lost by the Russian army now totals 225,301, with an increase of 1,960 units. The number of cruise missiles that have been destroyed or rendered inoperable has reached 4,517, with no changes reported. Regarding naval forces, the Russian army has lost 33 ships and boats, as well as 2 submarines, which also remain unchanged.
Additionally, the automotive vehicles and fuel tankers used by the Russian military have suffered losses totaling 88,103 units, with an increase of 241 units. The Russian army has lost 4,117 units of special equipment, with 2 units destroyed in the last day. These figures indicate that Russian military forces continue to face significant losses across all fronts, highlighting the ongoing activity of Ukrainian forces in their resistance.
As reported by Ukrinform, as of April 7 at 22:00, there were 128 combat engagements reported along the front lines. Specifically, in the Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole directions, Russian forces conducted over 70 attacks, underscoring the tense situation in these areas of the front. These data confirm that the conflict continues to escalate, with both sides actively engaged in combat operations.
