Russians Kill Three Civilians in Donetsk Region in One Day, Injure 13 More

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely tense, as Russian military forces killed three civilians and injured another 13 in recent shelling, according to Vadim Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

The Donetsk region is experiencing a dire situation as Russian military forces have reportedly killed three civilians and injured 13 others in a single day due to ongoing shelling. This alarming update was shared by Vadim Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, on his blog on Facebook.

Filashkin revealed that two of the fatalities occurred in the town of Oleksiyivka-Druzhkivka, while the third victim was found in Druzhkivka. These tragic incidents underscore the relentless aggression from Russian military forces, who show no regard for civilian lives, even in areas that are not direct combat zones.

Furthermore, according to the regional administration, the total number of casualties since the onset of the war in Donetsk has reached 4,014 dead and 9,253 injured. It is crucial to note that these figures do not include data from Mariupol and Volnovakha, where the situation remains exceedingly dire.

On April 2, Russian military forces conducted an airstrike on Druzhkivka, deploying four FAB-250 bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules. As a result of this attack, nine individuals sustained injuries, further highlighting the peril faced by the civilian population in the region.

The ongoing shelling and airstrikes carried out by Russian military forces are leading to numerous casualties among civilians, who remain defenseless in the face of such aggression. Local residents continue to suffer the consequences of war, losing loved ones and enduring horrors that should never have become part of their daily lives.

In light of these events, Ukrainian authorities are urging the international community to pay attention to the humanitarian situation in the region and to take measures to protect the civilian population. The situation in Donetsk requires urgent action, as each day brings new losses and suffering.
