Russians Strike Zaporizhzhia Region 887 Times in One Day

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported a critical situation in the region as Russian forces launched 887 strikes within a single day, highlighting the severity of the front line conditions.

Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, has revealed alarming details regarding the ongoing conflict in the region, where Russian military forces executed a staggering 887 strikes in just 24 hours. This shocking information was shared on his Telegram channel, underscoring the dire circumstances faced by local residents and the escalating violence in the area.

Among these attacks, Fedorov noted that there were 18 airstrikes that targeted several populated areas, including Zarichne, Mykil's'ke, Veselyanka, Hryhorivka, Stepnohirsk, Shyroke, Novoselivka, Yegorivka, Lyubyts'ke, Rybals'ke, Lisne, Kopani, Huliaipil's'ke, Vozdvizhivka, and Verkhnya Tersa. These airstrikes have resulted in significant destruction and have raised concerns among the local population regarding their safety and the stability of their communities.

In addition to the airstrikes, a total of 521 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of various modifications, primarily FPV drones, attacked multiple settlements such as Zaporizhzhia, Komyshuvakha, Bilen'ke, Yur'kivka, Tavriyske, Kanivske, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Luk'yanivske, Pavlivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohir'ya, Huliaipil's'ke, Hirke, Zelenе, Solodke, Varvarivka, Dobropillya, Pryluky, Tsvitkove, and Sviatopetrivka. These drone attacks highlight the intensified use of unmanned aerial technology by Russian forces to inflict damage on Ukrainian infrastructure.

Moreover, five shelling incidents involving multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) were recorded targeting Zaporizhzhia, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Novoandriivka. These bombardments have further complicated the situation in the region, causing extensive damage to civilian facilities and heightening the sense of insecurity among residents.

Additionally, it was reported that 343 artillery strikes were directed at Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Luk'yanivske, Pavlivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohir'ya, Zelenе, Varvarivka, Dobropillya, Pryluky, Solodke, Huliaipil's'ke, and Sviatopetrivka. These artillery bombardments have inflicted severe damage on civilian infrastructure and residential buildings, leading to numerous reports of destruction.

In total, there were 38 reports of damage to infrastructure, housing, and vehicles, indicating the extensive consequences of the Russian attacks. Local residents continue to suffer the repercussions of the ongoing war, with the humanitarian situation in the region remaining critical and in urgent need of attention.

It is worth noting that earlier, Russian propaganda launched an information campaign aimed at justifying the systematic shelling of Zaporizhzhia, claiming that “almost no civilians are left in the city.” Such statements have sparked outrage among Ukrainians who face the daily realities of aggression and its impacts on their lives.
