A tragic airstrike by Russian forces on the city of Kherson resulted in the death of a 60-year-old woman and left a 44-year-old man seriously injured.

The Kherson City Military Administration reported a tragic incident that occurred during the midday hours, around 12:30 PM, when Russian troops launched an airstrike on the city of Kherson. As a result of this attack, a 60-year-old woman lost her life while she was in her apartment at the time of the strike.

According to information provided by the Kherson Military Administration via the social media platform Telegram, the bombardment was carried out using multiple airstrikes. Consequently, one individual sustained serious injuries. This individual is a 44-year-old man who suffered blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his abdomen, chest, and arms. Police officers promptly transported him to the hospital for medical assistance.

This incident is not an isolated case of aggression from Russian military forces. Earlier reports indicated that Russian troops dropped explosives from a drone onto a car in Kherson, resulting in the death of one passenger, while the driver and another passenger sustained injuries. These events highlight the ongoing threats that the war poses to the civilian population.

Kherson, as one of the cities that faces constant attacks, is suffering from the consequences of military actions. Local residents continue to live in conditions of danger, as shelling occurs regularly. Authorities urge citizens to exercise caution and adhere to safety measures, yet fear and anxiety remain an inseparable part of their daily lives.

This case underscores the importance of international support and the necessity for a response to the ongoing aggression. The public and international organizations must pay attention to the situation in Kherson and other affected regions to ensure the protection of civilians and prevent further tragedies.
