Russians Most Active on the Konstantynivka Front on Saturday – General Staff
On Saturday, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that the most intense combat activity by Russian forces was observed on the Konstantynivka front, where 26 attacks were recorded.
Since the beginning of the day, a total of 128 combat engagements have been recorded in the conflict zone, with the highest level of enemy activity noted on the Konstantynivka front. This information was disclosed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its report as of 10 PM.
According to the General Staff's data, on the North Slobozhansky and Kursk fronts, the enemy conducted 73 shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements. Notably, seven of these attacks were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems, indicating the active firepower employed by the enemy in these regions.
On the South Slobozhansky front, the enemy made six attempts to storm Ukrainian positions in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, and Ambarne. Concurrently, two combat engagements are ongoing, reflecting the tense situation in these zones.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled four enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kurylivka, Pishchane, Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka, and Novoosynove. Three additional combat engagements are ongoing, confirming the active hostilities in this region.
On the Lyman front, Ukrainian soldiers also demonstrated resilience, repelling one attempt by the invaders to advance towards the settlement of Lyman. This indicates that Ukrainian forces continue to actively defend their positions across all fronts.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian military personnel are repelling two assaults by the occupiers in the areas of Platonivka and Yampol, indicating the persistent pressure from the enemy in these zones.
On the Konstantynivka front, Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled 26 enemy assaults near the settlements of Konstantynivka, Pleshchiyivka, Illinivka, Stepaniivka, Novopavlivka, Dovha Balka, and Sofiyivka. This demonstrates that Ukrainian military forces are actively resisting the enemy's attempts to seize these territories.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 24 attacks, attempting to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udačne, Gryshyne, Myrnohrad, Novomykolaivka, and towards Novy Donbas. Three combat engagements are currently ongoing, underscoring the tense situation in this area.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the occupiers made eight attempts to improve their positions by attacking in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrhrad, Sichneve, and Verbove. Airstrikes targeted the outskirts of the settlements of Ivanivka, Dobropasove, Levadne, and Vyshneve. Currently, one combat engagement is ongoing, indicating the enemy's activity in this region.
In the Hulyaipole direction, there were ten attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Hulyaipole, Pryluky, Olenokostyantynivka, and Myrne. The enemy also conducted airstrikes in the areas of Vozdvizhenske, Novoselivka, Rybal's'ke, and Lyubits'ke, indicating the use of aviation to support their attacks.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to advance in the area of the settlement of Stepove. Additionally, the enemy carried out airstrikes on the areas of the settlements of Stepnohirs'k and Hryhorivka, confirming the activity of enemy aviation in this part of the front.
In the Dnipro direction, defenders successfully halted three assault actions towards the Antonivskyi Bridge and near the Bilohrudyi Island, demonstrating the resilience of Ukrainian forces in their fight against the aggressor.
