The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has released alarming data regarding the activity of Russian occupation forces in March 2023, revealing that nearly 8,000 guided aerial bombs (GABs) were deployed against Ukraine during this period.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published concerning statistics about the heightened activity of Russian occupying forces throughout March 2023. According to the information provided by the ministry, the enemy utilized nearly 8,000 guided aerial bombs (GABs) to strike Ukrainian territory during the specified timeframe.

Official data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicates that a total of 7,987 GABs were recorded as having been dropped in March, which marks an increase of 1,500 compared to February, previously considered a record month for such attacks.

This statistic reflects that the intensity of combat operations in March remained consistently high. The Ministry of Defense noted that there were 4,985 clashes throughout the month, confirming an escalation of military actions across various sections of the front.

The highest number of clashes in a single day was recorded on March 17, when 286 confrontations occurred between Ukrainian and Russian forces. This underscores the tense situation at the front and indicates that both sides continue to engage actively in combat operations.

Additionally, according to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy conducted over 115,000 artillery shellings in March, including 2,834 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). These figures highlight the scale and intensity of the aggression faced by Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict.

These data not only reflect Russia's military activity but also illustrate the serious challenges confronting the Ukrainian army. The increase in the number of dropped GABs and artillery shellings indicates that the enemy continues to employ all available means to achieve its objectives, necessitating constant readiness from Ukrainian forces to repel attacks.

In such a tense environment, Ukrainian military personnel are actively working to strengthen their positions and prepare for potential new assaults. It is crucial that the international community continues to monitor developments in Ukraine, providing the necessary support to safeguard the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Thus, March 2023 has become yet another month that confirms the complexity and danger of the military situation in Ukraine, where Russian forces persistently utilize aerial strikes and artillery bombardments to further their aggressive goals.
