Russian Forces Reinforce Artillery in Pokrovsk Agglomeration Amid Ongoing Fighting in Hryshyne – 7th Air Assault Corps
In a bid to strengthen their offensive in the Pokrovsk agglomeration, Russian troops are ramping up the deployment of long-range artillery in the area controlled by the 7th Air Assault Corps. Intense skirmishes continue in Hryshyne as Ukrainian forces respond actively to enemy actions.
As part of efforts to bolster their offensive in the Pokrovsk agglomeration, Russian forces are intensifying the deployment of long-range artillery within the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces (DShV). The corps' command reports that the enemy is concealing its artillery both in forest belts and within residential areas, complicating the detection and destruction of hostile installations.
According to information obtained from the Telegram channel of the 7th Corps command, Ukrainian Defense Forces are actively responding to enemy actions. They are identifying and destroying Russian artillery systems, inflicting significant losses on the adversary. In just the past day, Ukrainian troops managed to damage and destroy five units of enemy artillery in the regions of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. Despite the constant pressure from Russian forces, the 7th DShV Corps units continue to hold their positions in the northern part of Pokrovsk, demonstrating resilience and professionalism.
It is noteworthy that Ukrainian units have succeeded in slowing down the enemy's advance, indicating the effectiveness of their actions. However, despite this, Russian troops are becoming more active in other directions, particularly in Hryshyne and Rodynske, suggesting a possible escalation of their offensive operations in these areas.
In Hryshyne, intense small arms fighting continues, especially in the southeastern part of the settlement. Ukrainian Defense Forces are operating with active support from drones and artillery, enabling them to effectively counter enemy attacks. Russian forces are attempting to deploy additional assault groups to exert pressure on Hryshyne, but their efforts have proven unsuccessful, particularly due to the use of motorized equipment.
This situation indicates that combat operations in the region remain tense, with both sides continuing to compete for control over the territory. Despite the challenging conditions, Ukrainian Defense Forces are demonstrating determination in defending their positions, which is a crucial factor in the overall context of the conflict.
