Russians Kill One and Wound 16 in Kherson Region – Prosecutor's Office

On April 3, 2026, as a result of aggression by Russian military forces in the Kherson region, prosecutors documented tragic outcomes that led to the death of one individual and injuries to 16 others. This information was confirmed by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, which noted that these figures emerged from a thorough investigation.

According to the data provided by the prosecutor's office, on April 3, 2026, the Russian army conducted an airstrike using four guided aerial bombs (GAB) and also launched artillery, mortar, and drone attacks. By 5:30 PM that same day, it was recorded that due to these actions, one person had died, and 16 sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity.

Specifically, in the morning, around 8:30 AM, Russian military forces dropped explosives from a drone onto a public transport stop where a minibus was located. The explosion resulted in injuries to nine bus passengers who were at the stop at the time of the attack.

At 12:30 PM, as a result of another Russian strike on the regional center, a 60-year-old woman was killed, and another person was injured. This incident served as yet another testament to the horrific consequences of military actions that continue to unfold across Ukraine.

Throughout the day, Kherson also endured artillery shelling and drone attacks, resulting in six more individuals sustaining injuries. These events triggered panic among the local population, who once again became victims of relentless assaults.
