Russians Attack Kherson with Guided Aerial Bombs, Child Injured
A tragic incident unfolded in Kherson as a result of a Russian military attack, leaving a child injured. This information was reported by Yaroslav Shanko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, via his Telegram channel.
In Kherson, a serious tragedy occurred due to an attack by Russian forces, resulting in injuries to a child. Yaroslav Shanko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, reported this incident on his Telegram channel, as conveyed by the Ukrinform news agency.
According to Shanko, as a result of the strike carried out with guided aerial bombs (GAB), a 14-year-old child sustained moderate injuries. The child was urgently hospitalized, and efforts are ongoing to clarify further details regarding their condition.
According to data from the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the airstrike targeted the village of Stepanyvka around 10:50 AM. Currently, three individuals are known to have been injured, including the child and two adults.
One of the injured, a 66-year-old man, suffered severe injuries. An ambulance crew transported him to the hospital with head and chest injuries, as well as a concussion, blast trauma, and closed traumatic brain injury.
The second injured individual is a 14-year-old boy who also sustained serious injuries. He was diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to the temple and chest, a concussion, blast trauma, and closed traumatic brain injury. He was also admitted to the hospital in moderate condition.
The third injured individual, a 71-year-old man, was preliminarily diagnosed with blast trauma. Medical professionals are currently conducting examinations and providing necessary assistance.
This tragedy occurred against the backdrop of escalating tensions in the Kherson region, where, as reported by Ukrinform, two people were killed and another 15 injured, including two children, due to Russian aggression on April 6. This incident underscores the ongoing dangerous attacks on the civilian population, raising serious concerns among local residents and the international community.
