Border Guards Destroy Three MLRS and Rare ZooPark Radar System in Zaporizhzhia Direction

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has released information regarding substantial achievements in the fight against the aggressor in the Zaporizhzhia direction. Specifically, during the night from April 4 to 5, pilots from the 'Phoenix' unit detected and destroyed three multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), including two 'Grad' systems and one 'Uragan' system. Additionally, a rare radar system known as 'ZooPark' was also destroyed, marking a significant achievement for Ukrainian defense forces.

According to the information disclosed by the border guards, the total value of the destroyed equipment amounts to $28 million. This indicates a high level of effectiveness and professionalism among Ukrainian military personnel, who continue to fulfill their duties even under the challenging conditions of war. It is important to note that border guards are not only destroying military equipment daily but are also conducting various operations aimed at protecting the state.

The 'ZooPark' radar system is an extremely rare target for Ukraine's Defense Forces. According to released data, only up to 15 units of this equipment have been hit since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. This underscores the significance of this destruction for Ukrainian military forces, as the 'ZooPark' is used for detecting and directing fire, making it a strategically important asset for the enemy.

Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that on the same day, April 5, a section of the oil pipeline near the port in Primorsk, Leningrad region, was damaged due to a drone attack. This indicates that Ukrainian forces are not only actively engaging in combat on the front lines but are also striking critical infrastructure of the enemy, which could significantly impact their military capabilities.
