A new initiative has emerged in Ukraine aimed at enhancing the safety of workers operating in high-risk zones. The 'Drone Detector Rental Library,' launched by the Daily Humanity Foundation, offers free access to 50 'Candy' type drone detectors for verified users performing their professional duties in the field.

Kateryna Serhatskova, the Executive Director and board member of the Daily Humanity Foundation, emphasized the importance of these devices, stating that 'the detectors available for rent are personal devices essential not only for every military personnel but also for those working on the front lines: journalists, humanitarian workers, and critical infrastructure staff operating in high-risk areas.' She added that 'the principle of operation of the detectors is based on listening to the radio spectrum and automatically scanning signals from enemy drones,' making them indispensable in the current conditions of warfare.

The third model of 'Candy' detectors, which will be available in the 'Rental Library,' is capable of detecting all major Russian drones as well as identifying MAVKA quadcopters. This information was provided by Yulia Vodolatska, a representative of Drone Spises, the developer and manufacturer of these detectors. She noted that such technologies can significantly enhance safety levels for those working in dangerous zones, as timely detection of enemy drones can save lives.

The process of free rental of drone detectors is carried out automatically through the Daily Humanity Foundation's website. The operational team, based in Kyiv, is responsible for logistics, accounting, technical maintenance, and user support, making the process as convenient and accessible as possible for all interested parties. This allows for a quick response to the needs of those working on the front lines, providing them with the necessary means for protection.

The 'Drone Detector Rental Library' initiative is an important step in supporting professionals who risk their lives daily while fulfilling their duties in wartime conditions. It demonstrates how technology can be used to enhance safety and protect individuals working in the most challenging environments. In the context of modern conflict, where drones are becoming increasingly prevalent, such innovations could prove crucial in the fight for safety and life.
