On the morning of Friday, April 3, air alerts were declared in various regions of Ukraine in response to the imminent threat of attacks from Russian strike drones. Monitoring Telegram channels have been actively reporting missile launches, which has heightened anxiety among the public.
Andriy Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), emphasized that the Russian Federation is targeting Ukraine with a large number of objectives, necessitating increased caution among citizens. "The situation is serious, and we urge everyone to remain vigilant and adhere to safety measures," he stressed.
According to data from the eRadar public group, additional launches of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been recorded from the territories of Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Shatalovo, and Millerovo. This information indicates an intensification of hostile actions in border areas.
In the Kyiv region, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that air defense forces are actively working to neutralize threats related to drones. Authorities are urging residents to follow safety protocols and stay updated with official announcements.
The monitoring Telegram channel also warned that Russian Tu-160 bombers have conducted launch maneuvers. Specifically, two more Tu-95MS bombers, which took off from Olenya airfield, are heading towards launch positions, causing additional alarm.
Overall, the Russian Federation has deployed five Tu-95MS aircraft and two Tu-160 bombers into the air, indicating serious preparations for potential attacks. The entry of missiles into Ukrainian airspace is expected around 08:30, and preliminary data suggests that Russian forces may launch approximately 16 cruise missiles.
At this moment, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not reported any takeoffs of bombers from Russian territory or missile launches. However, given the current situation, military and civilian services remain on high alert to respond to possible threats.
