The European Union Ambassador to Ukraine, Matternova, expressed her outrage regarding another massive attack by Russia that occurred on Good Friday. She made her statement on her social media platform X, as reported by the Ukrinform news agency.

In her statement, Matternova noted that the recent attack, which involved drones and cruise missiles, targeted not only military facilities but also civilian infrastructure. Specifically, a residential building in the Kyiv region was hit, along with civilian infrastructure facilities and a veterinary clinic. As a result, emergency power outages had to be implemented, further complicating the situation for local residents.

Matternova emphasized that Russia is changing its tactics, shifting to attacks in the morning and daytime, which indicates an escalation of violence and unprecedented terror. "This round-the-clock terror must stop!" she stressed, calling on the international community to take decisive action in response to the aggression.

According to Ukrinform, at least five civilians have died as a result of today's attacks. These horrific figures illustrate that the war in Ukraine continues, and innocent people continue to suffer from the consequences of military actions.

Additionally, Ukraine's air defense forces managed to neutralize 26 Russian missiles and 515 drones of various types, demonstrating the active struggle of Ukrainian military forces against the aggressor. This indicates that despite the horrific losses, Ukraine continues to defend its population and territory.

It is also important to note that the Estonian Foreign Minister, Margus Tsahkna, responded to the massive shelling of Ukraine, describing the actions of the Russian army as a "inhumane attack" on the civilian population. This reflects that the international community continues to monitor the situation in Ukraine and is ready to support the country in its fight for freedom and independence.
