Ambassador in Spain Presents Honorary Award 'Amber Heart' to Help to Ukraine Organization

The Ukrainian Ambassador to Spain has presented the honorary award 'Amber Heart' to the Help to Ukraine organization, marking a significant event for the Ukrainian community in the country. This was reported by the Ukrainian embassy in Spain on its Facebook page, as conveyed by the Ukrinform news agency.

This award was given for the substantial contribution of the organization to humanitarian support for the Ukrainian people, which has continued since the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion. Help to Ukraine, which is an official partner of the global initiative UNITED24 in Spain, has become one of the main channels of assistance from Spanish civil society. Throughout its activities, the organization's volunteers have conducted dozens of humanitarian missions, delivering essential aid directly to the frontline regions of Ukraine.

During a meeting between Yulia Sokolovska, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Spain, and representatives of the Help to Ukraine organization, an agreement was reached to further coordinate efforts. The main priority remains to address the urgent needs of Ukrainian citizens, as well as to engage Spanish businesses in implementing joint charitable initiatives that will support the Ukrainian people during this challenging time.

“We express our sincere gratitude to Help to Ukraine for their unwavering solidarity with Ukraine, dedication to our common cause, and willingness to continue standing shoulder to shoulder with the Ukrainian people,” stated representatives of the Ukrainian embassy during the award presentation.

The presentation of the 'Amber Heart' has become a symbol of deep gratitude from the Ukrainian state for the tireless work of Spanish volunteers who help bring victory closer and restore life in the affected regions of Ukraine. This event underscores the importance of international support and solidarity in the struggle of the Ukrainian people for their freedom and independence.

It is worth noting that recently, the fourth annual charity concert 'United for Ukraine' took place in the capital of Spain, during which 6,700 euros were raised to support the Ukrainian energy system. This event further confirms the active participation of Spanish society in aiding Ukraine during its difficult times.
