Ernst & Young Services in Ukraine: Competitive Prices and a Wide Range of Requests

Consulting firm Ernst & Young, part of the 'Big Four', is offering its services in Ukraine at prices significantly lower than those in neighboring Poland, as revealed in an interview with Bogdan Yarmolenko, the managing partner of EY in Ukraine.

The consulting firm Ernst & Young, known as part of the prestigious 'Big Four', has been making headlines with its competitive pricing strategy in Ukraine. According to an interview with Bogdan Yarmolenko, the managing partner of EY in Ukraine, the cost of services in Ukraine is notably attractive, especially when compared to Poland, where similar services would be priced at double the cost.

Yarmolenko elaborated on the varying perceptions among Ukrainian businesses regarding the cost of foreign consulting services. He stated, 'Some consider them expensive, while I believe they are inexpensive. Our colleagues in Poland would do exactly the same work, but at twice the price, for instance. Firstly, the cost of doing business there is higher. In Poland, the rental costs are comparable to ours. However, they have a unique market with an oversupply of rentals. Yet, salaries in certain categories are twice as high.' This insight highlights the economic dynamics affecting consulting fees in the region.

In response to inquiries about which services are currently in high demand among Ukrainian businesses, Yarmolenko pointed out, 'Audit is our bread and butter. There are many requests for modeling and seeking financing, meaning creating business plans for projects. We often receive inquiries about transfer pricing and personnel consulting. So, there is quite a broad spectrum of orders.' This indicates a growing reliance on professional consulting services as businesses navigate the complexities of the current economic landscape.

Yarmolenko's comments reflect a significant trend where Ukrainian companies are actively seeking professional assistance to optimize their business processes and enhance efficiency. Notably, EY has recently commenced an audit for the company 'Kyivmiskbud', which further underscores the firm's active presence in the Ukrainian market.

The high competition among consulting firms in Ukraine, coupled with the demand for specialized services such as auditing, financial modeling, and transfer pricing, creates favorable conditions for EY's development in the region. Given that EY's service costs in Ukraine remain competitive, the firm is well-positioned for further growth and expansion of its market influence.

Thus, it can be asserted that Ernst & Young continues to be a significant player in the Ukrainian consulting market, offering services that meet the needs of local businesses while maintaining accessible prices compared to other countries in the region.
