Over 200 Clashes Occurred on the Frontline Since Dawn – General Staff

As of April 2, 2023, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that 213 combat clashes took place on the frontline, highlighting the ongoing tension as Ukrainian forces actively resist aggression from Russian troops.

Since the dawn of April 2, 2023, a total of 213 combat clashes have been reported on the frontline, according to a statement released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at 22:00. This information underscores the tense situation at the frontline, where Ukrainian military personnel continue to actively confront aggression from Russian forces.

According to the General Staff's data, the enemy launched 36 airstrikes, during which 119 guided aerial bombs were dropped. Additionally, the adversary deployed 3,545 kamikaze drones to target Ukrainian positions and conducted 2,822 shelling attacks on populated areas and military positions. These figures indicate the scale and intensity of enemy assaults that have persisted throughout the day.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, three clashes occurred, indicating the enemy's activity in these regions. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attempted to storm Ukrainian positions five times, trying to advance; however, Ukrainian defenders demonstrated resilience and determination.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled seven Russian assaults, showcasing a high level of training and combat spirit. In the Lyman direction, the enemy made eight attempts to advance, but Ukrainian forces managed to halt these attacks.

The situation in the Sloviansk direction also remained tense, where Ukrainian warriors repelled four assaults from the occupiers. The defense forces demonstrated the effectiveness of their actions, successfully repelling 15 Russian assaults in the Kostiantynivka direction, indicating their readiness for prolonged combat.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian Federation conducted 49 attacks, reflecting a high level of aggression from the adversary. In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers attempted to improve their positions 21 times; however, Ukrainian forces continue to resist.

In the Huliaipole direction, 37 Russian attacks occurred, while in the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 13 times. These data suggest that Ukrainian forces continue to fight against the aggressor on all fronts, despite significant pressure from the enemy.

In the Dniprovsk direction, two assault actions were recorded, underscoring the ongoing tension in this region. Overall, the situation on the frontline remains complex, but Ukrainian military personnel continue to perform their duties with dignity and courage, defending their country from aggression.
