Police Continue Evacuation of Residents from Kramatorsk and Sloviansk in Donetsk Region

The National Police of Ukraine continues its vital mission to evacuate residents from the cities of Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, located in the Donetsk region, against the backdrop of intensifying military operations. This was reported by the press service of the law enforcement agency, emphasizing that the evacuation is critically important for ensuring the safety of local residents.

It has been noted that the evacuation process is ongoing, and patrol officers from Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, along with police from other areas of the Donetsk region, recently conducted another operation to transport citizens, as well as their pets, from dangerous frontline zones. This initiative has emerged in response to the increasing threats arising from the escalation of hostilities.

During the latest evacuation, police successfully transported three women from the village of Raihorodok. While leaving this settlement, inspectors spotted an enemy drone, which posed a potential threat to the safety of the evacuation group. Consequently, they decided to bypass the location of the drone to avoid possible risks to their lives.

The second stage of the evacuation took place in the city of Mykolaivka, where police assisted in evacuating a couple along with their animals. This stage also faced dangers, as the patrol came under artillery fire during their movement. Fortunately, the evacuation was completed without any casualties, allowing the citizens to proceed to safer regions.

The police press service emphasized that the safety of individuals is a priority, and they are doing everything possible to ensure the evacuation of those in need. In the face of constant threats from the enemy, law enforcement officers continue their work, risking their own lives to save others.
