Rain and Nighttime Frosts Expected Across the Country

In the coming days, Ukraine is bracing for cold and rainy weather, with nighttime temperatures potentially dropping to -3 degrees Celsius. However, a slight warming trend is anticipated by Sunday, April 12.

In the coming days, Ukraine is set to experience a cold and rainy weather pattern. According to forecasts from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center (Ukrhydromet), nighttime temperatures across the country may fall to as low as -3 degrees Celsius. However, a slight warming trend is expected to begin on Sunday, April 12.

Data from Ukrhydromet indicates that from April 10 to April 12, there may be light precipitation in the form of rain and wet snow throughout Ukraine. It is noteworthy that on April 10 and 11, no precipitation is forecasted for the western regions of the country. However, during the night and morning hours of April 11 and 12, fog is expected in parts of southeastern Ukraine, which could complicate visibility on the roads.

The detailed forecast suggests that in the coming days, nighttime temperatures will fluctuate between 0 and -3 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures are expected to range from 3 to 11 degrees Celsius. Specifically, on April 12, an increase in daytime temperatures by 3 to 6 degrees is predicted, which will provide some relief to Ukrainians from the cold. The wind will predominantly be from the northwest, blowing at speeds of 5 to 10 meters per second, which will also impact the perceived temperature.

In the capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv, from April 10 to April 12, light precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain is also forecasted. Nighttime temperatures may drop to -2 degrees Celsius, while during the day, some areas are expected to experience light rain with temperatures ranging from +5 to +9 degrees Celsius. The wind in Kyiv will be from the northwest and southwest, with speeds of 3 to 10 meters per second, which may create a feeling of chilliness in the humid weather conditions.

As a result, Ukrainians should be prepared for changing weather conditions that may affect their plans. It is recommended to dress appropriately for the weather, especially at night when temperatures can be quite low. Additionally, caution is advised on the roads, particularly in foggy conditions that may reduce visibility.
