Entrepreneurs to Receive First Compensation for Purchased Ukrainian Equipment in 2026

The Ukrainian Ministry of Economy has confirmed that entrepreneurs will be able to receive compensation for purchased Ukrainian equipment starting in 2026, as announced by Deputy Minister Vitaliy Kindrativ.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Economy has officially confirmed that entrepreneurs will be eligible to receive compensation for the purchase of Ukrainian equipment as early as 2026. This announcement was made by Vitaliy Kindrativ, the Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture, who emphasized the significance of this program for the development of business in Ukraine.

Kindrativ pointed out that the state budget for the current year includes funding for the compensation program, which allows enterprises to plan further investments in production modernization with the support of the government. This initiative creates favorable conditions for the development of domestic production and enhances the competitiveness of Ukrainian companies.

The first payment this year amounts to 20.8 million hryvnias, which is 19.5% more than last year. “We see that businesses are increasingly utilizing the program to upgrade their equipment, and Ukrainian manufacturers are receiving additional orders,” Kindrativ noted, highlighting the positive outcomes of the program.

The compensation, which covers 15% of the cost of the equipment, applies to a wide range of Ukrainian machinery, including passenger elevators, bridge cranes, transformers, tanker semi-trailers, tank cars, forklifts, laser cutting machines, and industrial boilers. This indicates that the program encompasses various industrial sectors, thereby stimulating investments in modernization.

Enterprises from the Kyiv region have actively participated in the program, receiving compensation totaling 9.7 million hryvnias. The Odesa region received 3.1 million hryvnias, Lviv region 2.1 million hryvnias, Kirovohrad region 2 million hryvnias, and Cherkasy region 1.3 million hryvnias. This demonstrates that the program is in demand among entrepreneurs from different regions of Ukraine.

To implement the program, 29 Ukrainian banks have been involved, ensuring convenience for entrepreneurs in obtaining financing for equipment purchases. This simplifies the process of receiving compensation and increases the program's accessibility for businesses.

Previously reported figures indicate that during 2024-2025, 163 enterprises acquired 343 units of equipment under the program, totaling 899 million hryvnias, of which the state compensated 112.4 million hryvnias. This reflects the program's success and its importance in supporting domestic production.
