41 Settlements in Zaporizhzhia Region Under Enemy Fire
In the past day, the Zaporizhzhia region has once again become a battlefield, with Russian forces conducting 887 shelling attacks across 41 settlements, according to Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
In the past 24 hours, the Zaporizhzhia region has once again become a theater of intense combat, as Russian troops launched 887 shelling attacks targeting 41 settlements. This alarming update was shared by Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, via his Telegram channel.
Fedorov highlighted that despite the numerous attacks, there were no reported casualties among the civilian population. This indicates that, despite the intensity of the bombardments, human losses have been avoided, although the situation remains extremely tense.
Among the most affected settlements, according to Fedorov, were Zarichne, Mykil's'ke, Veselyanka, Hryhorivka, Stepnohirs'k, Shyroke, Novoselivka, Yehorivka, Lyubyts'ke, Rybal's'ke, Lisne, Kopani, Hulyaipils'ke, Vozdvizhivka, and Verkhnya Tersa. These locations were targeted by 18 airstrikes, indicating the active use of aerial strike capabilities by the enemy.
Additionally, Fedorov reported the deployment of 521 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of various modifications, primarily FPV drones, which attacked settlements including Zaporizhzhia, Komyshuvakha, Bil'en'ke, Yur'kivka, Tavriys'ke, Kanivs'ke, Stepnohirs'k, Prymorske, Stepove, Luk'yanivs'ke, Pavlivka, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohir'ya, Hulyaipils'ke, Hirké, Zelene, Solodke, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Tsvitkove, and Sviatopetrivka.
The shelling was not limited to aerial assaults and drones. There were also five attacks recorded from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) targeting Zaporizhzhia, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Novoandriivka. These attacks, along with 343 artillery strikes that hit Stepnohirs'k, Prymorske, Stepove, Luk'yanivs'ke, Pavlivka, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohir'ya, Zelene, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Solodke, Hulyaipils'ke, and Sviatopetrivka, illustrate the systematic nature of the assaults.
As a result of these bombardments, 38 reports of damage to infrastructure, housing, and vehicles were received.
