41 Settlements in Zaporizhzhia Region Under Enemy Fire, Two Injured
In a recent escalation of hostilities, Russian forces launched over 900 strikes on 41 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in injuries to two young individuals.
According to Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Russian troops have executed an alarming number of attacks, exceeding 900, on 41 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past day. As a result of these assaults, two young men, aged 19 and 16, sustained injuries due to enemy fire in the Zaporizhzhia district.
In his Telegram message, Fedorov reported that the total number of strikes by the occupiers reached 956, indicating the intensity of combat operations in the area. Among the settlements that suffered from the bombardments were Tavriyske, Tersyanka, Rizdvjanka, Zorivka, Stepnohirs'k, Tymoshivka, Huliaipils'ke, Tsvitkove, Verkhnyaya Tersa, Rivne, Novoselivka, Charivne, and Vozdvizhivka.
Notably, Russian forces conducted 17 airstrikes, which also caused significant damage to infrastructure and residential buildings. Fedorov emphasized that 651 unmanned aerial vehicles of various modifications, predominantly FPV, targeted settlements such as Vilnyansk, Komyshuvakha, Kushuhum, Kanivske, Lysohirka, Novooleksandrivka, Liubytske, Chervonodniprovka, Bileniake, Stepnohirs'k, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Luk'yanyvs'ke, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Myrne, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Varvarivka, Olenokostyantynivka, Dobropillia, and New Zaporizhzhia.
Additionally, four strikes were recorded from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) on the settlements of Novopavlivka, Mala Tokmachka, Huliaipils'ke, and Verkhnyaya Tersa. A total of 284 artillery bombardments were documented in settlements such as Chervonodniprovka, Stepnohirs'k, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Luk'yanyvs'ke, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Myrne, Staroukrainka, Olenokostyantynivka, and Dobropillia.
As a result of these bombardments, 49 reports of damage to infrastructure, housing, and vehicles were received. This highlights the severe consequences of enemy attacks on the civilian population and infrastructure in the region. The situation in the Zaporizhzhia region remains tense, with local residents continuing to suffer from the impacts of war.
