19 Settlements Under Fire: Consequences of Enemy Shelling in Chernihiv Region

New enemy shelling in the Chernihiv region has resulted in significant damage to local settlements, as reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus.

In the Chernihiv region, new enemy shelling has been recorded, causing substantial damage to local settlements. This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, on his Telegram channel, as conveyed by the information agency Ukrinform.

According to Chaus, yesterday, Russian troops launched strikes on 19 settlements in Chernihiv region. Over the past day, 30 shellings were recorded, resulting in 57 explosions. This situation indicates the continuation of aggressive actions by Russia, which threaten the lives of civilians.

It is worth noting that in the Mensk community, Russian strike drones attacked a private parking lot. As a result of this attack, a fire broke out, destroying and damaging several trucks. Firefighters promptly extinguished the blaze; however, the consequences of this shelling are palpable for local residents.

Additionally, in one of the villages of the Horodnyansk community, civilian cars were also damaged due to an FPV drone attack. This new tactic of using drones is becoming increasingly common among Russian forces, causing damage not only to military targets but also to civilian infrastructure.

In Semenivka, Russian troops again struck an FPV drone at a cultural center, resulting in damage to the roof. This facility is an important cultural hub for local residents, and its damage raises concerns about future activities in this area.

The head of the Regional Military Administration also noted that treatment continues for those injured in medical facilities following yesterday's strike on Pryluky. It is recalled that as a result of the attack by three Geran-type drones, administrative buildings in the city center were targeted. The condition of one of the injured remains critically serious, underscoring the severity of the consequences of this shelling.

According to Ukrinform, the number of injured in Pryluky due to the Russian attack has risen to 15 individuals, including a minor. This situation raises significant concern among local residents and emphasizes the need for enhanced security measures in the region.
