Oleksandr Teren Butko Ends Relationship with Kateryna Smachylo

The relationship, which lasted around three months, has concluded on amicable terms, according to Teren, who emphasized that there were no conflicts or hard feelings involved in their separation.

In an interview with BLIK.ua, Teren elaborated on the reasons that led to their split. He stated, “We are not together now; it just happened. There were many different factors, and we did not part on bad terms. Everything was quite mutual; we spoke calmly. We understood that it might be better to separate at this stage.” Teren noted that a certain tension had begun to manifest in their relationship, which he suggested could be attributed to the media pressure they faced as a couple.

“Kateryna is not from this world, let’s say, in which we are communicating right now. She also has friends and family who read the news. Of course, all of this piles up like an avalanche,” he added, highlighting how media attention can significantly impact personal relationships.

Teren further shared his thoughts on his current readiness for new relationships, expressing that he is not looking to date anyone at the moment. “Right now, I am alone. Honestly, I don’t even have time for myself. Everything is very scheduled—from one event to another, plus acting and tutoring. I need to learn English, not just to act in Ukrainian films but also in others,” he remarked, emphasizing his busy schedule and commitment to self-improvement.

Interestingly, Teren had previously commented on a situation involving Olena Mandziuk, who blocked him on Instagram. He mentioned that he no longer maintains a friendship with the blogger, who had actively supported him after the conclusion of the reality show “Holostyak” (The Bachelor).
