Occupiers Lose 1300 Personnel and 195 Units of Special Equipment in One Day – General Staff
Ukrainian defense forces continue to effectively counter the aggression of Russian occupiers, with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reporting significant losses for the enemy over the past day.
The Ukrainian defense forces have reported a staggering loss of 1300 Russian occupiers in just one day, alongside the destruction of critical military assets. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this information was shared on Facebook on Thursday morning, highlighting the ongoing resilience and effectiveness of Ukrainian military operations against Russian aggression.
Since the onset of the conflict on February 24, 2022, the total combat losses of the enemy have reached approximately 1,300,030 personnel, marking an increase of 1300 from the previous day. The number of destroyed tanks has now reached 11,830, with two tanks eliminated in the last 24 hours alone. Additionally, the Ukrainian forces have recorded the destruction of 24,334 armored fighting vehicles, seven of which were lost by the enemy yesterday.
Artillery systems have also suffered significant losses, with the General Staff reporting that the total number of destroyed artillery units has risen to 39,228, including 59 destroyed within the last day. Furthermore, Russian multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) have lost one unit, bringing their total to 1713.
In the realm of air defense, Ukrainian forces have successfully destroyed 1338 units of anti-aircraft systems, with no changes reported over the last day. Regarding aviation, the total losses of Russian aircraft remain at 435 units, while helicopter losses stand at 350. However, the number of operational-tactical level drones has surged by 2497 units, reaching a cumulative total of 213,393.
Moreover, Russian forces have lost 4491 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, and two submarines, with no changes reported in these figures over the past day. It is also noteworthy that automotive vehicles and tankers have sustained heavy losses, with a total of 86,773 units destroyed, including 195 units lost just yesterday.
These figures reflect the ongoing active combat operations and significant losses suffered by the enemy, which are a direct result of the dedicated efforts of Ukrainian military personnel in defending their homeland. The General Staff has urged Ukrainian citizens to maintain morale and be prepared for any challenges that may arise in the context of the ongoing war.
