Occupiers Strike Passenger Bus in Nikopol Region for the Second Time in One Day: Five Injured

The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration reported a new act of aggression by Russian forces, who struck a passenger bus for the second time in one day, resulting in five injuries.

On April 7, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration confirmed a disturbing incident in the Nikopol district where Russian military forces launched a second attack on a passenger bus operating between cities. This latest assault has left five individuals injured, highlighting the ongoing violence in the region.

Alexander Ganja, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, verified the reports and indicated that among the injured are a woman and four men. He emphasized that this marks the second strike on a passenger bus within the same day, underscoring the ruthlessness and targeted nature of the Russian military's attacks.

According to Ganja, the attack occurred in the Chervonohryhorivka community, where a minibus serving an intercity route came under fire. As a result of the assault, five people sustained injuries, and medical personnel are currently providing the necessary assistance. The condition of the injured individuals remains under the watchful eye of healthcare workers, who are striving to do everything possible for their recovery.

This incident comes amid escalating conflict in the region, where Russian forces continue to strike civilian infrastructure, leading to numerous casualties among the civilian population. Earlier that same day, on the morning of April 7, a prior attack on a bus in Nikopol resulted in the deaths of four individuals, while another sixteen were injured.

These events have raised concerns among local residents, who are anxious about the safety of their families and the feasibility of travel. Local authorities are urging people to exercise caution and avoid traveling to high-risk areas, as the situation remains tense.

It is important to note that the Nikopol district has repeatedly become a target for shelling by Russian forces. These attacks highlight the scale of the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Ukraine as a result of military actions that have persisted for over a year.

In response to these aggressive actions, the international community continues to condemn Russia's conduct, calling for an immediate ceasefire and adherence to human rights. However, the situation remains complex, and civilians continue to suffer the consequences of the ongoing war.
