Occupants Shell Dnipropetrovsk Region – Infrastructure and Gas Station Damaged, Fires Erupt
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian attacks have led to numerous fires and damage to critical infrastructure, including a gas station, a business, and private residences. These incidents are a result of the aggressive actions of the occupiers, who continue to strike Ukrainian territory.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the ongoing Russian attacks have resulted in a series of devastating fires and significant damage to essential infrastructure. Among the affected sites are a gas station, a local business, and several private homes. These incidents underscore the relentless aggression of the occupiers, who persist in their bombardment of Ukraine.
This alarming situation was reported by Oleksandr Hanzha, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, via his Telegram channel. According to Hanzha, the enemy launched attacks on three districts within the region, executing over 20 artillery strikes while also employing drones and missiles. The most severely impacted area was the Nikopol district, where the towns of Nikopol, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, and Pokrovsk communities were under fire.
Hanzha noted that the attacks not only damaged the gas station but also severely affected private homes and vehicles belonging to local residents. In the Pavlohrad district, the occupiers targeted the city of Ternivka, which also suffered damage to a business. Meanwhile, in the Kryvyi Rih district, Kryvyi Rih and the Zelenodolsk community came under fire, leading to fires and further infrastructure damage.
Despite the extensive destruction, Hanzha emphasized that, fortunately, there were no casualties among the residents. This crucial information indicates that, despite the intensity of the attacks, the civilian population has so far been shielded from direct losses.
The situation in the region remains tense, as shelling continues, forcing local residents to live under constant threat. Authorities are urging citizens to adhere to safety measures and remain in shelters during air raid alerts.
These events unfold against the backdrop of escalating conflict in eastern Ukraine, where Russian forces are actively engaged in combat operations. Dnipropetrovsk, like many other regions, remains at risk of attacks, and local authorities are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of the population and the restoration of infrastructure.
In response to these incidents, local government bodies and emergency services are actively working to mitigate the consequences of the shelling, striving to restore normalcy in the affected areas. Citizens are receiving assistance and information on how to act in dangerous situations.
This situation once again highlights the importance of international support for Ukraine in its fight against aggression, as well as the necessity of taking measures to protect the civilian population from the repercussions of war.
