Occupiers Attempted to Advance 30 Times in the Pokrovsk Direction – General Staff
On April 3, 2023, the frontlines in Ukraine witnessed 128 combat engagements, with 30 of these occurring in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the latest report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the day on April 3, 2023, a total of 128 combat encounters have been recorded along the frontlines in Ukraine, with 30 of these engagements taking place in the Pokrovsk direction. This information was detailed in the report published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 PM.
According to the General Staff, the enemy launched three missile strikes, utilizing 37 missiles, and conducted 40 airstrikes during which 140 guided aerial bombs were dropped. In addition, the adversary deployed 6,531 kamikaze drones to target various objectives and carried out 2,663 shelling incidents against populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, two combat engagements were recorded, indicating the enemy's activity in these regions. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions five times, attempting to consolidate their hold on occupied territories.
Furthermore, in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy also conducted five attacks, signaling a continuation of intense combat operations in this sector. In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled two assaults from the occupiers, demonstrating resilience and professionalism in defending their positions.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy made three attempts to advance; however, Ukrainian defenders effectively halted these attacks. Particularly aggressive actions were noted from the occupiers in the Kostiantynivka direction, where they launched 18 assaults on Ukrainian defenders' positions, attempting to breach the defense lines.
As previously mentioned, in the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy executed 30 attacks, reflecting a high level of tension in this area. In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers attacked seven times, seeking to identify weaknesses in the defenses of the Ukrainian military.
In the Huliaipole direction, 11 attacks from Russian forces were recorded, indicating a continuation of their efforts to advance on this front. Meanwhile, in the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully thwarted one attempt by the enemy to push forward near the settlement of Stepove.
In the Dniprovsk direction, the Russian Federation carried out five assault actions, further underscoring the enemy's activity in this sector. Overall, the situation along the front remains tense, and Ukrainian military personnel continue to fight to maintain the territorial integrity of the country.
