Occupants Shell Donetsk Region 11 Times in a Day, Resulting in One Death and Two Injuries – Regional Administration

In the Donetsk region, according to Vadym Filashkin, the head of the regional military administration, Russian occupiers conducted 11 shelling attacks on populated areas over the past day, April 5. As a result of these attacks, one resident of the city of Kostiantynivka was killed, and two others were injured, one of whom resides in Kostiantynivka and the other in Dobropillia.
Filashkin reported the details of the shelling on his Telegram channel, noting that in the Pokrovsk district, particularly in Dobropillia, one person was injured. In the Kramatorsk district, specifically in Sloviansk, a car and two private houses were damaged. In Oleksandrivka, three private houses were affected by the shelling. In Kostiantynivka, where one local resident lost their life, a car was also damaged. In Druzhkivka, the attacks resulted in damage to a multi-story building and two administrative buildings.
Overall, according to Filashkin, 169 individuals were evacuated from frontline settlements over the past day, including 39 children. This information underscores the seriousness of the situation in the region, where constant shelling creates dangerous conditions for the lives of civilians.
It is worth noting that the situation in the Donetsk region remains tense. Just a few days ago, on April 3, Russian occupiers conducted 31 shelling attacks on populated areas in the region, resulting in the deaths of six and injuries to ten civilians. On April 2, the occupiers shelled populated areas 27 times, leading to the deaths of three and injuries to 13 civilians. On April 1, 26 shelling incidents were recorded, resulting in injuries to three people.
Importantly, during these days, a significant number of people were evacuated from the frontline: on April 3, 269 individuals were evacuated, including 60 children; on April 2, 263 people were evacuated, with 48 children among them; and on April 1, 170 individuals were evacuated, including 19 children. These figures indicate that the situation in the region is critical, forcing local residents to leave their homes in search of safety.
The ongoing shelling of civilian areas continues to raise concerns among the residents of the Donetsk region. Authorities are urging residents to exercise caution and adhere to safety measures, as well as to actively utilize evacuation opportunities to avoid danger.
