One Person Killed, Four Injured Due to Shelling in Kharkiv Region Over the Day

During the past day, on October 11, 2023, the Russian army carried out multiple attacks on Kharkiv and 13 populated areas within the Kharkiv region. The shelling was conducted using various types of drones and guided aerial bombs (GAB). As a result of these attacks, one person was killed, and four others sustained injuries, as reported by Oleg Synegubov on his Telegram channel.
According to Synegubov, the tragedy occurred in the village of Metalivka in the Starosaltivska community, where a man lost his life, with his age and personal details currently being clarified. Meanwhile, in the city of Kharkiv, two women, aged 68 and 89, were reported to have experienced acute stress reactions. Additionally, in the city of Chuhuiv, two women, aged 52 and 75, were injured due to the shelling.
The enemy strikes in Kharkiv resulted in damage to a multi-apartment residential building, four vehicles, and one civilian enterprise. These attacks have caused significant damage to the region's infrastructure, raising concerns among local residents.
Furthermore, in the Bohodukhiv district of the region, an agricultural enterprise, an educational institution, and two vehicles were affected. In the Izium district, the shelling damaged railway infrastructure and two private houses. In the Kharkiv district, a private house and electrical networks were destroyed due to the attacks, while in the Lozova district, a preschool institution was impacted.
In the Chuhuiv district, the shelling led to the destruction of four private houses, three outbuildings, a garage, a multi-apartment building, and one vehicle. These events highlight the ongoing aggression from Russian troops, who do not hesitate to target civilian objects, causing harm to peaceful residents.
The situation in the region remains tense, and local authorities continue to take measures to ensure the safety of the population. Oleg Synegubov urged residents to remain cautious and adhere to all safety recommendations, as enemy attacks may recur. Authorities are also working on mitigating the consequences of the shelling and providing assistance to those affected.
