Defense Company TechEx Denies Reports of 'Massive Data Leak'

TechEx, a defense company specializing in drone production for the front lines, has firmly denied allegations of a potential large-scale data leak, emphasizing that no real breach has occurred.

TechEx, a defense company specializing in the production of drones for military operations, has categorically denied reports suggesting a possible large-scale data leak. In a statement relayed by Ukrinform, the company stressed that no actual breach has taken place, and the materials currently circulating in the media and social networks as purported 'leaked data' are distorted and unreliable.

The statement from TechEx indicates that the data in question was only controlled accessibly to the enemy as part of counterintelligence measures. The company informed the public about these measures several weeks ago, emphasizing that the information that fell into the hands of the adversary is not genuine but rather a deliberately prepared array of disinformation. This disinformation was intentionally crafted to protect the company's operations, its production processes, and technical information.

Furthermore, TechEx pointed out that what Russian sources present as the 'result of their successful operation' merely confirms that the enemy is operating on unreliable data obtained as a result of successfully implemented countermeasures. 'Our data is secure. Key systems are operational. The team is functioning cohesively. Internal security procedures have been strengthened. TechEx is operating as usual. An investigation is ongoing. All necessary measures are being taken,' the company emphasized.

It is noteworthy that on March 25, special equipment belonging to Russian intelligence services was seized from one of TechEx's offices, specifically from the chief engineer's office. This operation was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service of Ukraine and the defense company's team, which helped avert the leakage of sensitive information. The actions of law enforcement and TechEx specialists demonstrate a high level of readiness and professionalism in ensuring the security of the company's data.

Additionally, it is important to highlight that, amid war, information security has become one of the most critical aspects of the operations of defense enterprises. Companies operating in this sector continuously enhance their protection systems and responses to threats related to cybersecurity. TechEx, as a leader in drone production, is actively engaged in safeguarding its technologies and information, which is crucial for successfully fulfilling tasks on the front lines.

Thus, TechEx continues its operations as usual, assuring its partners and clients of the reliability of its systems and information security. In the face of constant threats from the adversary, the company remains at the forefront not only in the production of cutting-edge technologies but also in the fight for information security.
