Nova Poshta to Increase Service Rates Starting April 13

Nova Poshta, one of Ukraine's leading delivery operators, has announced a partial increase in service rates set to take effect on April 13. This decision comes in response to the need to align service costs with the current economic conditions prevailing in the market.

Nova Poshta, a prominent delivery service provider in Ukraine, has officially declared a partial increase in its service tariffs, which will be implemented starting April 13. The company's decision is driven by the necessity to adjust service costs in accordance with the contemporary economic landscape that has emerged in the market.

In a statement from Nova Poshta's press service, it was highlighted that the current market situation is characterized by a significant rise in operational burdens. This increase is attributed to the escalating cost of living, instability in the global energy market, and rising fuel prices. "Additionally, the costs of partner services—ranging from telecommunications to electricity—have also surged," the company emphasized.

Taking these factors into account, Nova Poshta has opted to revise the tariffs for a range of services that will come into effect on April 13. Notably, the increase will impact services such as packaging for small parcels, branded envelopes for documents, forwarding in transit, parcel storage at branches, the Point Transfer service, and additional charges for sending from villages or small towns.

According to the new tariffs, the cost of document delivery within the city will rise to 70 UAH (up from 60 UAH), while delivery across Ukraine will now cost 80 UAH (previously 70 UAH). The rates for parcels weighing up to 30 kg will also see changes. For instance, the delivery of a parcel weighing up to 2 kg will now cost 70 UAH (previously 60 UAH), up to 10 kg will be 115 UAH (previously 100 UAH), and up to 30 kg will be 180 UAH (previously 160 UAH).

Moreover, for parcels weighing up to 2 kg, the delivery cost will increase to 90 UAH (up from 80 UAH), up to 10 kg will rise to 135 UAH (previously 120 UAH), and up to 30 kg will cost 200 UAH (previously 180 UAH). Tariffs for inter-branch deliveries will also change: within the city, the cost will be 7 UAH/kg (up from 6 UAH/kg), while inter-branch delivery across Ukraine will start from 11 UAH/kg depending on the tariff zone (previously starting from 9 UAH/kg).

Customers can find detailed information regarding the updated tariffs for basic services on the company's official website, as well as for additional services. Nova Poshta has assured that despite the tariff increases, the company will continue to invest in parcel security, the stability of its network and operations, and will also index employees' salaries.

It is worth noting that earlier, Ukrposhta also raised some of its tariffs for parcel forwarding, further indicating the overall rise in delivery prices in Ukraine. In light of these changes, consumers should be prepared for new service conditions that will undoubtedly affect their delivery costs.
