In a significant expansion effort, Nova Poshta, the leading express delivery service in Ukraine and part of the NOVA group, has announced the opening of 2,600 new parcel terminals, 36 branches, and 329 points for parcel acceptance and delivery in the first quarter of 2026. This information was disclosed in a company statement released on Tuesday.
The company highlighted that the most popular new format branches were located within residential complexes, with 21 out of the 36 new branches established in these areas. This strategic placement aims to enhance convenience for customers residing in densely populated urban settings.
Throughout the first quarter, the majority of new branches were opened in the Kyiv and Lviv regions, as well as in the frontline Zaporizhzhia region, reflecting the company's commitment to serving both urban and rural communities effectively.
According to Anna Fedchenko, the head of network development planning at Nova Poshta, 19 branches relocated during the first quarter to improve accessibility and convenience for customers. "We aim to make it even easier for our clients to use Nova Poshta services," Fedchenko stated in the release.
Arthur Kudelin, the director of the parcel terminal department at Nova Poshta, revealed that the company recently opened a new parcel terminal space featuring 26 sections and 286 compartments. "Additionally, we are adding new stacks to already established parcel terminals where there is sufficient demand and technical capability. Currently, we have expanded 445 locations in this manner," Kudelin explained.
As of now, Nova Poshta operates 36,700 parcel terminals across the country, showcasing its extensive reach and service capabilities. The company has ambitious plans to further expand its network, aiming to increase the number of parcel terminals by 6,000 units and open 300 mini-branches nationwide by the end of 2026.
In a comment to Interfax-Ukraine at the end of March, Maxim Melezhik, the customer service director at Nova Poshta, shared plans to open approximately 300 branches within residential complexes throughout 2026. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance service accessibility for customers living in urban areas.
Overall, Nova Poshta plans to expand its service points from 51,500 to 60,000 in 2026, including increasing the number of parcel terminals to 40,000, as outlined by Melezhik during the Nova Summit in Kyiv.
