German Skier Victoria Carl Receives 18-Month Ban for Anti-Doping Rule Violation

German skier Victoria Carl, who has gained recognition for her successes on the international stage, has received an 18-month ban for violating anti-doping rules. This decision comes as a result of an investigation conducted by the German National Anti-Doping Agency, which found that the athlete tested positive for clenbuterol in the spring of last year.

Following the detection of the prohibited substance in her system, Victoria Carl was temporarily suspended from competition. This suspension has led to her missing the Olympic season of 2025/26, raising concerns among her fans and the sporting community.
