The Hottest Frontlines: Kostyantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole See 146 Battles in One Day

As of 8:00 AM on Thursday, April 2, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released operational information regarding combat activities at the front. According to the General Staff, 146 battles occurred yesterday, particularly in the Kostyantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole directions.

According to the information, the enemy conducted 75 airstrikes over the past day, dropping 257 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the aggressor employed 9,695 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,889 shellings of populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 77 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Enemy airstrikes were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Luzhky and Esman in the Sumy region, as well as in Verkhnya Tersa, Vozdvizhivska, Huliaipilske, Mykil'ske, and Tavriyske in the Zaporizhzhia region. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck three areas where the enemy personnel were concentrated.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, two clashes occurred over the past day. The enemy launched six airstrikes, dropping 20 guided bombs, and conducted 94 shellings of Ukrainian military positions and settlements, including four using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attempted to storm Ukrainian positions four times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Vovchansk, and Krasne Pershe. In the Kupiansk direction, the aggressor attacked 12 times in the areas of the settlements of Kurylivka, Borivska Andriivka, Pishchane, Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka, and Novoosynove.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy made six attacks, trying to break through our defenses near Lyman and Stavky. In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders halted four attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, and Yampil.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers made one attempt to advance towards the settlement of Malynivka. In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy launched 17 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiyivka, Ivanopillia, Stepaniivka, Yablunivka, and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 31 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Novomykolaivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Hryshyne, and Filiia. In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked seven times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrhrad, Nova Zaporizhzhia, Berezove, and Novohryhorivka.

In the Huliaipole direction, there were 20 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Tsvitkove, Hirke, Sviatopetrivka, Olenokostyantynivka, and Myrnyi. In the Orikhiv direction, no active offensive actions by the enemy were recorded.

In the Dnipro direction, Ukrainian units repelled two enemy attacks near the Bilohrudyi Island and Antonivskyi Bridge. In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to April 2, 2026, amount to approximately 1,300,030 individuals, with 1,300 individuals lost in the past day.
