Ukrainian MP Yuriy Koryavchenkov Declares Apartment in Spain, Wife Reports Million-Dollar Income
Ukrainian parliament member Yuriy Koryavchenkov, known as 'Yuzik,' has disclosed the purchase of a luxury apartment in Spain in his electronic declaration, revealing significant financial activities within his family.
Ukrainian MP Yuriy Koryavchenkov, a member of the Servant of the People party, has made headlines after revealing the acquisition of an apartment in Spain through his electronic declaration. This revelation came to light following an in-depth investigation conducted by journalists from Ukrainska Pravda.
According to the declaration, the apartment is located in Spain, spans 90.9 square meters, and was purchased on January 10, 2025. The transaction was officially registered in the name of Koryavchenkov's wife, Tetiana Koryavchenkova. At the time of purchase, the property was valued at 6 million 533 thousand 910 hryvnias, which is equivalent to just under 150 thousand US dollars.
In addition to the Spanish property, the declaration indicates that Koryavchenkov owns an apartment in Kyiv measuring 103 square meters, which he acquired back in 2008. Tetiana Koryavchenkova also possesses a 136.4 square meter apartment in the capital, a parking space, one-third of a 56-square-meter apartment in Kryvyi Rih, and two plots of land in the Kherson region measuring 1500 and 152 square meters respectively.
The family’s vehicle collection includes a 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and a 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser, which is used by Koryavchenkov himself. The declaration also lists a Breitling watch valued at 150 thousand hryvnias. Regarding income, the MP declared an annual salary from the Verkhovna Rada of 643 thousand 820 hryvnias. Among other income sources, he reported 16 hryvnias in interest from PrivatBank, 400 hryvnias in cashback, and 165 hryvnias listed under 'value of awards and honors,' which includes orders, medals, diplomas, and flowers.
Meanwhile, Koryavchenkova, the MP's wife, earned 3 million 830 thousand hryvnias from entrepreneurial activities over the past year. She also received 12,990 hryvnias in interest and 69,215 hryvnias in insurance payouts. The Koryavchenko family holds 30 thousand dollars in cash, while their bank accounts contain 10 dollars and just over 2,500 hryvnias. Additionally, Koryavchenkova keeps 45 thousand euros in cash and has bank accounts holding 19.8 thousand dollars, approximately 4.7 thousand euros, and over 300 thousand hryvnias.
It is worth noting that earlier, Ukrainska Pravda reported on the purchase of the apartment in Spain by Koryavchenkova. The MP was unable to provide detailed information regarding the property’s price or his wife’s employment status. According to sources within law enforcement, on March 13, the MP was questioned by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU). The following day, March 14, he left Ukraine in his own vehicle through the Krakivets checkpoint.
Investigative reports indicate that the MP is currently in Spain, particularly on the Costa Brava, where his family has resided since the onset of the full-scale invasion. In a statement to journalist Mykhailo Tkach, Koryavchenkov asserted that he is in Spain on a personal vacation, emphasizing that this is legal.
In December 2025, NABU announced that they were not conducting searches at the residence of MP Koryavchenkov. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau reported the uncovering of a criminal group that facilitated illicit benefits for MPs in exchange for 'necessary' votes. Among those suspected in this case were five parliament members, including representatives from the Servant of the People faction: Yevhen Pivovarov, Ihor Negulevskyi, Yuriy Kysil, Olha Savchenko, and Mykhailo Laba.
