Ukrainian Forces Destroy $20 Million Russian Electronic Warfare System 'Palantin' in Zaporizhzhia

According to reports from Ukrinform, the separate special forces unit Lasar’s Group shared news of their successful operation via Telegram, posting a video that showcased the results of their combat efforts. The military personnel noted that through meticulous planning and coordinated interaction with other units, they were able to eliminate a rare enemy target—the 'Palantin' electronic warfare system. This accomplishment marks a crucial advancement in the ongoing struggle against Russian troops in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

Military sources indicated that the operation was conducted by the Lasar’s Group, which is part of the National Guard of Ukraine. They executed a comprehensive special operation that resulted in the destruction of a powerful electronic warfare system used by Russian forces to shield their air defense assets. The 'Lazars' conducted reconnaissance in the area of responsibility of the 17th Army Corps, where they identified a concentration of air defense systems, which became the basis for their subsequent actions.
