In the early hours of April 3, the Poltava region once again fell victim to hostile attacks, as drone strikes targeted industrial enterprises, igniting fires and prompting emergency responses.

In the early hours of today, April 3, the Poltava region has once again become a target of hostile attacks. Vitaliy Dyakivnych, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, reported on his Telegram channel that enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) attacked industrial production facilities in the Poltava district. This assault resulted in fires caused by direct hits from the drones on infrastructure objects.

Dyakivnych noted that the State Emergency Service (SES) units are responding swiftly to the situation and are working to mitigate the consequences of the attacks. They are making efforts to extinguish the fires that have erupted due to the strikes, aiming to prevent further spread of the flames and minimize damage to the enterprises and surrounding areas.

Currently, an air raid alert is in effect across the region, indicating a constant threat from enemy forces. Local residents are urged to exercise caution and adhere to safety measures, as the situation remains tense.

This attack is not an isolated incident, as reports on April 3 revealed the downing of Russian drones in two districts of the Poltava region. As a result of this incident, one man sustained injuries, highlighting the dangers faced by the residents of the area.
