According to information shared on social media by Mykola Trofymenko, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, the main registration period for the National Multidisciplinary Test (NMT) for 2026 has concluded. This year, more than 373,000 individuals expressed their desire to take the NMT, with 347,377 successfully registered and eligible to form a certificate for the test. Among the registered participants, 329,230 individuals will take the test in Ukraine, while 18,146 will undergo testing abroad.
Mykola Trofymenko also emphasized that the final number of NMT participants this year will only be known after the completion of the period for making changes and verifying all data, which is a crucial step in ensuring the accuracy of information about the applicants.
According to the data provided by Trofymenko from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, approximately 320,000 individuals registered during the main registration period for the NMT in 2025. This indicates a growing interest in testing among applicants this year.
The Deputy Minister also reminded that until April 7, 2026, applicants have the opportunity to correct errors in their documents, resubmit them for processing to the regional center, change their fourth subject, select a different location for taking the NMT, switch the testing session from the main to an additional one, as well as change the language of the test. Additionally, they can specify or add information about special (specific) conditions if necessary.
It is important to note that applicants should monitor important notifications about the NMT in their personal accounts, which will allow them to stay informed about all changes and updates related to the testing.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science, over 6,000 applicants have received notifications regarding the need to revise their data or documents. They have until April 7 to make all necessary changes and ensure their participation in the testing.
Furthermore, registration for an additional NMT session will be available in May, scheduled to take place from July 17 to July 24. The additional session is intended for those who were unable to participate in the main testing session for valid reasons. Such reasons may include participation in international or nationwide events, competitions, contests, olympiads, or tournaments. A complete list of valid reasons can be found on the website of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment.
As reported by Ukrinform, in some cities abroad, the number of workplaces for taking the National Multidisciplinary Test has been increased, indicating a growing need to ensure accessibility of testing for Ukrainian applicants who are outside the country.
