Two Killed and Ten Injured in Russian Strikes in Kherson Region

In the Kherson region, two people have been reported dead and ten others injured as a result of ongoing Russian attacks. This alarming information was shared by the head of the regional state administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, highlighting the critical situation in the area.

In the Kherson region, during yet another wave of Russian attacks, two individuals have lost their lives and ten others have sustained injuries. This information was disclosed by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the regional state administration, through his Telegram channel, emphasizing that the situation in the region remains critical.

According to Prokudin, numerous settlements have found themselves under the threat of enemy drone terror, aerial strikes, and artillery shelling. Specifically, the towns of Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozirka, Blahovishchenske, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Veletenske, Vesele, Virivka, Dniprovske, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Kizomys, Kozatske, Komyshany, Kostyrka, Lviv, Mykil'ske, Mylove, Mykhailivka, Naddnipryanske, Nezlamne, Novovorontsovka, Novodmytrivka, Novokairy, Novooleksandrivka, Novoraisk, Prydniprovske, Romashkove, Sablukivka, Sadove, Starytsia, Tokarivka, Tomaryne, Tomyna Balka, Urozhayne, Charivne, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Sofiivka, and the city of Kherson itself have been subjected to bombardments.

As a result of these attacks, four multi-storey buildings, nine private residential houses, a cellular tower, and several vehicles, including an ambulance, have been damaged. This indicates that the destruction is not only due to direct strikes but also from shrapnel and debris that harm civilian infrastructure and the homes of ordinary residents.

As reported by Ukrinform, such incidents have become commonplace in the region. For instance, on April 1, Russian forces dropped explosives from a drone onto a car in Kherson, resulting in the death of one passenger, while the driver and another passenger were injured. This incident serves as yet another confirmation that civilians remain under threat amid ongoing hostilities.

The situation in the Kherson region remains tense. Local residents continue to suffer from the repercussions of aggression, and the humanitarian situation in the area is causing concern. Authorities are urging residents to exercise caution and remain in safe places, as shelling can occur at any moment.

In light of these events, local authorities are striving to provide support to those affected by offering medical assistance and organizing humanitarian supplies for those in need. However, given the constant threats, the situation remains complex, and the demand for aid is increasing.
