According to a report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook, the situation at the front remains critical as of 8:00 AM on Wednesday, April 8. Over the past day, the enemy engaged in 170 clashes and carried out 71 airstrikes, dropping 245 guided aerial bombs. This indicates a significant level of activity from Russian forces, which continue to assault Ukrainian positions across multiple fronts.

The aviation and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck three areas where enemy personnel and military equipment were concentrated, destroying two drone command points and a Russian artillery system. This demonstrates the active response of Ukrainian military forces to the aggression of the enemy.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled six enemy attacks. However, in the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy executed 32 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiyivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Ivanopillya, Rusynyi Yar, Sofiivka, and towards Pavlivka.
