As of 4:00 PM on Thursday, April 2, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released operational information indicating that there have been 127 combat clashes along the front lines. The greatest intensity of these clashes is noted in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions, where Ukrainian defenders are repelling numerous attacks from Russian forces.

Throughout the day, Russian artillery has continued to bombard border areas of Ukraine. Among the settlements that have suffered enemy strikes are Bachivsk, Iskryskivshchyna, Bezsalivka, Tovstodubove, Vyntorivka, Wolfine, Korenyok, Prohres, Brusky, Starykove, Nova Huta, and Havryliova Sloboda in the Sumy region. These shellings indicate a persistent threat from the aggressor, who does not cease attempts to inflict damage on Ukrainian territories.

In the Northeastern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Russian troops executed 58 shellings of populated areas and positions of Ukraine's Defense Forces, including three attacks using multiple launch rocket systems. This underscores the intensity of hostile actions in this region.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Russian forces launched four assaults on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Starytsia and Veterinary, where three combat clashes are ongoing. This suggests that the enemy is attempting to expand its controlled territories despite the resistance from Ukrainian defenders.

Meanwhile, in the Sloviansk direction, one combat clash is ongoing in the area of Rai-Oleksandrivka, indicating active combat operations in this region.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the Russian army has attempted 36 times to displace Defense Forces from their positions in the areas of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udalye, Muravka, Molodetske, and Filiya, towards Bilytske, Shevchenka, Novopidhorodny, and Novopavlivka. Seven combat clashes are ongoing here, indicating a high intensity of combat operations.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy conducted 18 attacks in the areas of Oleksandrhrad, Sichneve, Voronoe, and Krasnohirske, attempting to advance towards Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsov, Sosnivka, Stepove, Vyshneve, and Verbove. Five combat clashes are ongoing, indicating active actions by the aggressor in this region.

Simultaneously, Russian aviation struck Kolomiytsi, while in the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 25 enemy attacks towards Olenokostyantynivka, Pryliuky, Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Myrne, Zelenyi, Huliaipole, and Charivne. Ten combat clashes are still ongoing here.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russians attacked Ukrainian defenders' positions 13 times in the areas of Malyi Shcherbaky, Shcherbaky, Stepnohirska, and Stepove, attempting to advance towards Novodanilivka, Lukianivske, and Prymorske, where one combat clash is still ongoing. Enemy aviation also struck the areas of Preobrazhenka and Omelnyk.

In the Dnipro direction, one assault action by the invaders is ongoing towards the Antonivskyi Bridge. In other directions along the front, the situation remains unchanged, and the Russian army has not attempted any advances.

The Ukrainian military continues to exhaust the enemy along the entire line of combat engagement and in the rear. As reported by Ukrinform, an attempt by Russian troops to launch an assault in the Sumy region ended in failure.
