213 Combat Clashes on the Frontline, Most Intense in the Pokrovsk Direction
As of the evening of April 2, 2026, the operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicates that there have been 213 combat clashes on the front. The enemy has intensified its actions, conducting 36 airstrikes and dropping 119 guided aerial bombs.
According to the General Staff, the enemy has utilized 3,545 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,822 shellings of populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, reflecting a high level of tension across all fronts.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, three combat clashes have been recorded. The enemy has conducted 76 shellings of Ukrainian positions, including three using multiple launch rocket systems, indicating significant enemy activity in these regions.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy has attempted to storm Ukrainian positions five times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia and Veterinarne. These attacks suggest the enemy's intentions to advance deeper into Ukrainian positions.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders successfully repelled seven enemy assaults aimed at the settlements of Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka, and Novoosynove. This demonstrates the high professionalism and resilience of the Ukrainian military in defending their territories.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy has made eight attempts to advance towards the settlements of Nadiya, Novoserhiyivka, Novoyehorivka, Stavky, Lyman, and Drobysheve. Three combat clashes are ongoing, indicating the continuation of active hostilities.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian warriors repelled four assaults by the occupiers in the areas of Rai-Oleksandrivka and Platonivka, showcasing their resilience and readiness to fend off attacks.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not conduct any attacks, which may indicate a temporary concentration of forces in other directions.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 15 enemy assaults in the Kostiantynivka direction, near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Berestok, Stepaniivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiyivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, and towards Mykolaipillya. Another combat clash is ongoing, indicating a tense situation in the region.
The most intense fighting is occurring in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy has launched 49 attacks, attempting to advance in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Filia, as well as towards Bilytske, Shevchenka, Novopidhorodnie, and Novopavlivka. Two combat clashes are still ongoing, reflecting a high level of tension in this region.
Preliminary estimates indicate that in the Pokrovsk direction today, 92 occupiers have been eliminated, 43 of whom were injured. An artillery system, seven vehicles, and two units of special equipment have been destroyed, along with a motorcycle, two enemy personnel shelters, a damaged armored combat vehicle, an artillery system, a cannon, five vehicles, and 53 personnel shelters. Additionally, 157 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types have been destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers have attempted to improve their positions 21 times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Vorone, Krasnohirske, as well as towards Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sosnivka, Stepove, Vyshneve, and Verbove. Airstrikes have hit Kolomiytsi and Katerynivka, indicating the continuation of active enemy actions.
In the Huliaipole direction, there have been 37 attacks by the occupiers towards the settlements of Olenokostyantynivka, Staroukrainka, Pryluky, Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Myrne, Zelenе, Huliaipilske, and Charivne. Lyubytske and Vozdvizhivka have also been subjected to enemy airstrikes. Two combat clashes are ongoing, indicating a tense situation in the region.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy has attacked our defenders' positions 13 times in the areas of the settlements of Mali Shcherbaky, Shcherbaky, Stepnohirske, Stepove, as well as towards Novodanylivka, Lukyanyvskoho, and Prymorskoho. The enemy has conducted airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Omelnyk, Shyroke, Kopani, Rivne, Novoselivka, Orikhiv, and Preobrazhenka, indicating an escalation of hostilities.
In the Dnipro direction, our troops repelled two enemy assaults towards the Antonivsky Bridge. This demonstrates the resilience of the Ukrainian military in defending strategically important objects.
In other directions, there have been no significant changes in the situation; however, Russian combat activities have intensified in Kharkiv and Sumy regions, as well as increased pressure in the Lyman direction. This indicates that the situation on the front remains tense, and Ukrainian forces continue to fight for their territory.
