128 Clashes on the Frontline, Over Half of Enemy Assaults in Three Directions
As of 10:00 PM on April 7, 2026, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 128 combat clashes on the frontline, with the enemy intensifying its actions, including airstrikes and drone attacks.
According to operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 10:00 PM on April 7, 2026, there have been 128 combat clashes on the frontline. The enemy has ramped up its activities, carrying out 43 airstrikes during which 145 guided bombs were dropped. Additionally, the enemy deployed 4,878 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,321 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions held by Ukrainian troops. This information was published on the official Facebook page of the General Staff.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursky directions, the Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully repelled six enemy attacks. The enemy conducted 60 shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian military personnel and populated areas, two of which were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems. The enemy also executed an airstrike using one guided bomb.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian units twice in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk and Lyman. These attacks indicate the continuation of aggressive actions by the enemy in the region.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled five enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, and Pishchane. These successes demonstrate the resilience of Ukrainian forces in countering aggression.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers also successfully halted one attempt by the invaders to advance towards the settlement of Tverdokhlibove. This underscores the importance of controlling this territory.
In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian military personnel repelled seven assaults by the occupiers towards Rai-Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, and Ozerne. The enemy continues to attempt to advance, but the Ukrainian army shows determination in defending its positions.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not conduct any attacks, which may indicate some level of activity by Ukrainian forces in this region.
The Defense Forces successfully repelled 26 enemy assaults in the Kostiantynivka direction, near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiyivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Ivanopillya, Rusynyi Yar, and Sofiivka. These actions demonstrate the effectiveness of Ukrainian troops in defending the territory.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 24 attacks, attempting to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilitske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Rivne, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hryshyne, Dachne, Filia, Muravka, and Novopavlivka. One confrontation is ongoing. Preliminary estimates indicate that in this direction, 93 occupiers have been eliminated, 64 wounded, one artillery piece destroyed, five vehicles and four units of special enemy equipment destroyed, as well as damage to one tank, three artillery pieces, ten vehicles, and three enemy infantry shelters. Additionally, 405 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types have been destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers attempted to improve their position ten times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Sosnivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Kalynivske, Sichneve, and Vorone. The outskirts of the settlement of Velykomykhailivka were subjected to airstrikes, indicating enemy activity in this region.
In the Huliaipole direction, there were 23 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Varvarivka, Huliaipilske, Sviatopetrivka, Pryliuky, Hirke, Olenokostyantynivka, and Zaliznychne. The enemy also carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vozdvizhenske and Tavriyske.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the area of the settlement of Tavriyske, indicating the continuation of aggression from the enemy.
In the Dnipro direction, our defenders successfully halted five assault actions towards the Antonivskyi Bridge. The settlement of Stepaniivka was subjected to airstrikes with guided bombs, indicating enemy activity in this area.
In other directions, there have been no significant changes in the situation, indicating stability in these regions.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Defense Forces regained control over a section in Kharkiv Oblast between Ambarne and Milove, marking an important achievement in the struggle for Ukraine's territorial integrity.
