Frontline Reports 108 Clashes, Ukrainian Forces Neutralize Over 70 Occupants in Pokrovsk Direction

As of 10 PM on Sunday, April 5, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 108 combat clashes on the front lines, with the enemy conducting 45 airstrikes and dropping 157 guided bombs.

According to Ukrinform, as of 10 PM on Sunday, April 5, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has documented 108 combat clashes on the front lines. The enemy, for its part, has launched 45 airstrikes, deploying 157 guided bombs. Additionally, the adversary has utilized 3,534 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,362 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops.

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, one combat clash was recorded, during which the enemy conducted 53 shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas. Notably, one of these shelling incidents involved the use of a multiple launch rocket system.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine twice towards Starytsia and Vovchansk, where one of the combat clashes is ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled six enemy assaults towards Novosynove, Petropavlivka, and Kurylivka, demonstrating the resilience of our forces in this region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers thwarted an attempt by the invaders to advance towards the settlement of Kopanky, confirming their readiness to repel aggression.

In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled four assaults by the occupiers in the areas of Yampol, Zakitne, and Riznykivka, with two combat clashes still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy launched two attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the area of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, but the defense forces successfully resisted these assaults.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, defense forces repelled 17 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiyivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy conducted 24 attacks, attempting to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Muravka, Pokrovsk, Rivne, Udachne, Novopavlivka, and Filia. One of the combat clashes is ongoing, and preliminary estimates indicate that in this direction, 54 occupiers have been eliminated, 17 wounded, as well as two vehicles and nine units of enemy special equipment destroyed, along with a motorcycle, one personnel shelter, two artillery systems damaged, seven vehicles, four UAV command points, and 87 enemy infantry shelters.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers made seven attempts to improve their positions by attacking in the areas of the settlements of Sichneve, Krasnohirsk, and towards Sosnivka, Verbove, and Kalynivske.

In the Huliaipole direction, there were 12 attacks by the occupiers towards Zaliznychne, Olenokostyantynivka, Huliaipole, Sviatopetrivka, Varvarivka, and Zelene. The enemy also launched airstrikes in the areas of Varvarivka, Tsvitkove, Verkhnya Tersa, Huliaipole, Kopani, Zaliznychne, Novoselivka, and Dolynka, where two combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions but carried out airstrikes on the areas of the settlements of Komyshuvakha and Novoyakolevka.

In the Dnipro direction, the enemy attempted three unsuccessful assaults towards the Antonivskyi Bridge and near the Bilohrudyi Island. The settlements of Rozliv and Zorivka also came under enemy airstrikes.

In other directions, no significant changes in the situation were reported, as summarized by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to April 4, 2026, amount to approximately 1,302,370 personnel.
